Artist
Samira Mosca (1995) was born and lives in Bolzano, where she works in the field of curating and visual communication with photography, video, and graphic design.
She graduated in photography from LABA in Brescia and during her Erasmus in Lithuania, she developed a particular interest in multimedia contemporary art and curating, interests she continues to cultivate.
In 2019/20, she attended the ICON course for Contemporary Image Curators at FMAV (Fondazione Modena Arti Visive), which allowed her to complete a three-month internship in Rome at Villa Massimo. She has exhibited and published her works in Trentino-Alto Adige and Lombardy.
Samira combines her background as a photographer with a personal artistic practice and work in curating (in the artistic and cultural fields). As a curator, she is involved in the production and development of projects, supporting artists, and organizing exhibitions for the association lasecondaluna. In her artistic practice, she prefers the use of ceramics, installation, and performance as modes of expression.
